Application Engineer - Partial Discharge Testing

Tasks
Technical and Application Services / Technical Sales
- Providing technical and application support to customers for OMICRON Partial Discharge and Monitoring products
- Conducting trainings and product demonstrations
- Supporting the launching of new products from the mtronix line of products (see www.omicron.at/en/products/primary/partialdischarge/ )
- Creating application notes and technical presentations
- Creating and presenting technical papers at relevant conferences and seminars to enhance OMICRON's image as a Knowledge Provider
Product Management Support
- Participating in the Idea Generation Process
- Giving feedback on product enhancement ideas
- Working closely with Product Management on regional technical requirement for product development projects
Profile
- Electrical engineer with in-depth knowledge of high voltage partial discharge measurement and analysis
- Preferably holding a master or doctor degree with emphasis on high voltage partial discharge
- At least 7 years of working experience with a power utility and/or HV equipment manufacturer
- Good writing and presentation skills
- Show ability to coordinate a team of application engineers
- Capable of creative, innovative thinking
- Willingness to travel (up to 50 %)
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Reliable work style with self-initiative
- Enjoy working in a small team environment
