Application Engineering

As a member of our Engineering Services Team you will provide customer support for all requests about our products. In close coordination with our sales and product management teams Engineering Services is responsible for the smooth running of customer support in more than 140 countries.

Event Management

In our Event Management Team you are responsible for the organization of international customer events, sales meetings and the participation at exhibitions. You are managing the preliminary tasks (e.g. booth planning), coordinating the implementation on-site (e.g. coordination of all parties) and taking care of the follow-up after the event (e.g. mailings, etc.).

Office Management

In our Office Management team you are the first contact person for our international visitors and ensure a warm welcome. You are operating as a communication platform as you are answering and connecting the incoming phone calls; you are organizing internal events and planning business trips all over the world for our colleagues and customers.

Customer Sales Support

You are responsible for handling sales orders and the proper entry of orders and co-ordination of shipments according to availability and priority. You manage the coordination with external partners (forwarders, customs, chamber of commerce, embassies) and support our international sales team.

Human Resources

The field of Human Resources consists of the following areas: recruiting and employment of new employees in different locations, employer branding, campus recruiting and the organization of internships, personnel development as well as employee services and administration.

Finance & Controlling

In the field law and controlling you design and administer contracts as well as administer legally relevant documents in cooperation with external legal consultants. You will coordinate the foundation of new international subsidiaries as well as support and guide them especially in law and controlling-related topics. In the field accounting you are responsible for the daily accounting and payment management. You are involved in budgeting, the creation of the annual accounts as well as controlling and other versatile projects.

Hardware Development

You develop firmware for DSPs, from concept to design, programming and simulation to testing. Moreover you develop modules in the field of digital circuit technology and support the improvement of our development process as well as the maintenance of existing products.

Product Management

As product manager you are responsible for the Product-Life-Cycle Management. You work very closely with our international sales and development teams and are involved in innovations for the future of energy supply. 

Test Field and Test Device Manufacturing

In the test field you are responsible for the finalization and test of test sets, the assembly of test equipment, the test and repair of electronic circuit cards and the inspection of incoming goods. In the test device manufacturing you are responsible for the development of testing equipment for electronic products in full production. You automate the developed test systems and ensure the efficiency in the test field. You take an active part in optimizing the producibility of the series products and in improving the testing devices.

Software Development

You are responsible for the concept, design and development of Windows software for our test systems. You are working in a Scrum team on implementing, testing, documenting and maintaining of Windows applications and frameworks in C#. You expedite our development process with your new ideas.

Software Quality Engineering

You are responsible for the quality assurance and the testing of the software for our test systems. In a Scrum team you work on designing, implementing, documenting and maintaining automated tests. The planning, implementation and evaluation of manual tests are also part of your duties. As an interface between development and customer support you are responsible for defect tracking and the organization of beta tests.

Technical Support

You are the direct contact for our existing international customers and handle application queries for our products. You assist our clients in the practical application and integration of tests, train our customers and participate actively at trade fairs. You document and observe customer and market requirements to further develop our products.

Technical Sales

You are responsible for selling our OMICRON products and services. You build up customer relationships and take care of the customer service. You prepare product presentations, give trainings and seminars and participate at exhibitions. You conduct market analyses and sales performance monitoring and are responsible for the distributor management.

Marketing Communications

You create different types of sales literature (brochures, datasheets, etc.) in close co-operation with product management. You take care of our website with all product related content, write texts for advertisements and product information for technical magazines, and play an active role in the graphic design. You contribute to the development of marketing concepts for product launches and the implementation of communication strategies.

Information Systems

You deal with the processing of international user requests and are responsible for the configuration, installation and maintenance of workstations and notebooks. An important part of your role is the administration of the phone system and the cell-phone network.

Purchase

You are responsible for the operative and strategic purchase of defined product groups and for the complete order processing of components and services. Active supplier management, market analysis of the procurement market as well as the optimization of our supply management are among your tasks.
