The Workshop covers established methods and examines latest techniques surrounding the testing of power transformers. It includes theory and a demonstration of how these methods can be applied on-site. Topics such as the determination of the water content in paper, impedance measurements, the use of Sweep Frequency Response Analysis (SFRA) for detecting winding faults and new aspects of Partial Discharge (PD) measurements are discussed.
The content is based on practical considerations of the current situation in the field of transformer testing and diagnosis. During breaks the participants will have an opportunity for discussion and interaction, which is, from our experience, highly appreciated amongst the participants.
