New version of the universal IEC 61850 tool
OMICRON has released a new version of the IEDScout. This software tool for engineers working with IEC 61850 devices provides access to IEDs from any vendor. It is a universal client to IEC 61850 servers (such as substation IEDs) and a publisher/subscriber for GOOSE messages. Version 2.11 now supports Windows 7 (64 bit and 32 bit) and contains some modifications for minor issues. A free evaluation version is available at the IEDScout webpage.
