With a compact design and powerful output amplifiers, the new CMC 353 focuses on commissioning and maintenance tasks particularly in industrial, distributed generation, and medium to low voltage applications. The device allows the three-phase testing of all kinds of protection equipment ranging from electromechanical relays to the latest IEC 61850 IEDs.

Its low weight (12.9 kg / 28.4 lb.) and powerful current outputs (3 x 32 A / 430 VA) offer the perfect combination of portability and power. The CMC 353 can be operated via a PC utilizing OMICRON´s Test Universe software, or it can be manually operated via the new front panel control unit CMControl.
